Youth Ministry is very important at Saint Matthews.  We focus on the children as they are our future and they are the ones who need to continue to spread the message of God’s word.  An upbringing rooted in faith of Jesus Christ and his teachings prepares them for life as an adult.  We provide nursery care during service for infants and toddlers and pre-school and school age children attend Sunday school class.  For our older youth, we have a youth group that meets the first and third Sundays of the month.  The youth group was formed to allow our youth to bond through both community service efforts, mission work, as well as recreational activities such as game night to unwind.  We encourage them to celebrate their achievements as well as support each other through any struggles they may go through on their journey to adulthood and hopefully throughout life.
